Great fish and chips. Not greasy.

Came here as a teenager for ice cream. Now almost two decades later I'm here with my kids for ice cream and fish and chips. Great place for a snack.

Really good Halibut fish and chips !

Not horrible but not great. Mind you I have eaten at a few places like that, when summer and the crowds come, there is a better, more streamlined and consistent cooking and the food goes from average to wow!

Fries are definitely fresh cut, not frozen, got a huge piece of fish with the 1 piece combo meal. Everything tasted great, the fish is battered beautifully and was neither dry nor chewy!Plus, the setting and view at the park and beach across the street can't be beat for chowing down on the meal (it's the only spot i've seen green grass in at least a month)

Impressed right from the first moment of walking in the door. Super friendly service and delicious food! The fries are fresh cut potatoes, the coleslaw made on site and yummy! And the cod was big and tasted very good according to my boyfriend who ate that part . Prices were very reasonable considering the location and season we ate there, plus the portion sizes were very generous. Highly recommend this place and will definitely go back!

This cute little shop has unreal gelato and ice cream! Fish and chips are also top notch! The fish tacos are a must try! If you are going out that way this shop is a MUST stop! Will be back again!

What an AMAZING little Restaurant!!! The food was like NOTHING I’ve ever tasted. It’s like everything is homemade. The owner/Cook is soooo personable and made it feel like home!!! EVERYONE needs to check Ships-A-Hoy Fish & Chips out!!!

Was ok but way overpriced $59 for take out of 4 pieces of fish, some fries and a tiny serving of coleslaw. VERY bland tasting

Excellent local eatery! We get the takeout quad cod w/chips and always find the fish hot and tender with a nice crispy batter. Love this place and highly recommend 👌

I come from a fishing island. I think this was the worst fish and chips I have ever eaten and wasn't cheap. Fish was cooked from frozen, so tasted rubbery, with absolutely no.flavour! Sorry, but will not be going back!

Took 10 children from the Summerland Boys & Girls Club to get ice cream & the wonderful owner gave it to us free! Wonderful owner & staff.😀

Excellent fish and chips and the fresh made coleslaw and tartare sauce was awesome! The service was wonderful.

For $47 for 2 take-out meals (without drinks) we expected better quality and bigger portion. The fish tacos were not great. The halibut combo was tasteful but the portion of fries with it was not sufficient for $28. Service at the take out window could have been friendlier.

If you want to truly enjoy fish and chips then this is the place to come! Its a lovely little shop run by a friendly family. And the food is delicious!

Nails that fish chips craving! Or oysters or calamari etc! Cute little family place. And the ice creams and sorbet for dessert can't be beat! Excellent fries and onion rings! Never greasy and ample servings!

Canada Day this team was smoking busy. Huge line up! The quility of the fish and chips was superb best I had in years. I Can imagine it they were slow?? I will be back for sure. Great job 👍 tonight.

Really good and crispy, lightly battered fish and chips, probably the best and lightest tasting I've had in a long time. Around $12 for 1 piece cod meal...Not cheap but nothing is cheap in the Okanagan. Will be back as much as possible--Take your meal to the park across the road and enjoy the million dollar views! 가격 좋고, 맛도 좋고.... 좋아요 좋아요!!

Got a 3 piece and an order of onion rings to go to eat on the beach. It was just ok. Fish was pretty rubbery. Onion rings were of the frozen variety. Portion was pretty small for the $30 price tag. Always wanted to try this place, but wasn't very impressed.

Been to get take out many times. Usually good quality but small portions for price.This time fish was so burnt we could not eat , hard as a rock. Yam fries greasy and but. Called but never got a call back.

They serve food but have no bathroom. Sent us a block down the street to public washrooms. Second time visit i ordered a kids ice cream and charged me $3.50 for a gluten free cone on top of the 2:50 for the ice cream. I was shocked. $6 for a kids cone was too much. The sign was misleading, insinuating that a gf cone was an extra dollar. Was not happy.

the lady that was working seems she had a bad day, she got my order wrong, i can tell she got a little mad at me for i was the one that made the mistake. they fixed the order right away spent about $25 got back to my hotel no sauce. just salt and pepper. really no ketchup nor vinegar or the most important sauce Tartar Sauce.

Small space inside without air conditioning. Food is excellent and service was quite good.

Everytime i have eaten here it has been well worth it. Food has always been fresh and service been good.

I always enjoy Chips Ahoy. I don't go very often but when I do they are always eager to make your visit pleasant. I find the fish and chips great, I always get the single halibut and I can never finish it all. The fish always tastes fresh and the fries I absolutely love. Good job.

Great fish and chips. Also a great place to stop for ice cream on a hot summer day. They have a dedicated ice cream window, and mini cone options for small children.
